Peter is a professional sales and management advisor. He speaks, trains, and consults with a variety of individuals, businesses and organizations. His areas of client focus include sales, leadership, customer service and personal development.

Early in his career at IBM, Peter completed the rigorous and extensive IBM Sales School Program, earning the Top Performer ranking in his class of over 50 sales professionals. It was during this early exposure to sales trainng that Peter developed a passion for the field of sales, and a passion for the field of training, leading him to later found his own training and speaking business.

During almost 10 years with IBM, Peter moved steadily up from his initial position on a large account sales team to eventually assuming responsibility for a large Pittsburgh area territory. During this time, Peter regularly earned IBM's 100 Per Cent Club honors for sales performance.

Peter was then recruited by 3Com Corporation, a prominent computer networking company based in California's Silicon Valley area. He started as a territory sales representative, and steadily oved up to higher levels of sales quota responsibility, and finally into management. He managed 3Com's largest sales district in the US, where he was responsible for leading 11 sales teams, covering a wide area of cities from Philadeplhia, to Rochester, to Detroit, to Cincinnati, to Charlotte, and more. During his time with 3Com, Peter earned many sales awards, including trips to Monte Carlo, Monaco; Maui, Hawaii and Cancun, Mexico.

Peter then worked with several smaller start-up organizations, where he was responsible for selling leading edge technology products and services to the business market. He successfully recruited and managed an east coast sales force of 6 sales teams from Boston down to Atlanta for one of these companies.

After 25 successful years in sales and leadership positions in the corporate world, Peter founded The SellingPoints Group, Inc. The mission of SellingPoints is to help individuals and organizations be more effective in sales, customer service and leadership. The way SellingPoints does this is by providing thier clients with information, tools, techniques and motivation to help them reach their highest levels of sales and business performance. Peter has delivered thousands of hours of training, coaching, consulting, and speaking engagements. He also the author of The Power Guide to Supportive Selling, and his articles have been published in a variety of business newsletters and e-zines.
